According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2023, Washington added the highest number of jobs to the private inland water transportation industry (77), followed by Illinois (66), and Tennessee (49).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-27), followed by Louisiana (-11), and Pennsylvania (-6).
