United States Payroll Employment By State for All State Government Business Establishments in May, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to all state government business establishments (3,458), followed by North Carolina (3,208), and Texas (3,184).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-3,805), followed by New Jersey (-3,667), and Michigan (-3,447).
