United States Payroll Employment By State for The State Government Public Administration Industry in August, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the state government public administration industry (1,522), followed by Florida (1,016), and Arkansas (731).

On the other hand, Massachusetts added the least number of jobs (-424), followed by Washington (-360), and Colorado (-300).
