According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2020, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the state government public administration industry (691), followed by Hawaii (670), and Virginia (466).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-815), followed by California (-614), and Oregon (-289).
