According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.3% (sa) in July, 2007. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (25.5%), Bethel (13.5%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (13.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (1.5%), Denali (2.1%), and Haines (3.2%).
