US Unemployment Rate By State in July, 2007

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 4.7% (sa) in July, 2007. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Michigan (7.1%), Alaska (6.3%), and Mississippi (6.1%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Utah (2.6%), Hawaii (2.7%), and Wyoming (2.8%).
