According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.7% (sa) in January, 2024. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.3%), California (5.2%), and District of Columbia (5%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (1.9%), South Dakota (2.1%), and Vermont (2.3%).
