According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.1% (sa) in October, 2012. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (20.7%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15%), and Skagway (14.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Anchorage (4.8%), Juneau (4.9%), and Sitka (5%).
