According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.9% (sa) in April, 2014. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (24.3%), Yukon-Koyukuk (19.3%), and Lake and Peninsula (18.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (3.2%), Aleutians West (3.7%), and Sitka (5%).
