According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.2% (sa) in December, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (21.3%), Haines (15.8%), and Denali (14.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): North Slope (3%), Juneau (3.9%), and Sitka (4.1%).
