According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.6% (sa) in December, 2019. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Mississippi (5.5%), District of Columbia (5.4%), and Alaska (5.3%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Vermont (2%), North Dakota (2%), and Hawaii (2.3%).
