According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.6% (sa) in May, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (18.4%), Northwest Arctic (12.8%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (12.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (3.2%), Bristol Bay (3.4%), and Sitka (3.5%).
