According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4% (sa) in December, 2022. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (13.6%), Copper River (12.8%), and Kusilvak (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sitka (2.7%), Chugach (2.8%), and North Slope (2.9%).
