According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.5% (sa) in December, 2022. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.3%), District of Columbia (4.8%), and Illinois (4.5%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (2%), North Dakota (2%), and New Hampshire (2.2%).
