According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 6.6% (sa) in January, 2009. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Dolores (11.6%), Conejos (10.2%), and Huerfano (10%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Cheyenne (3%), Yuma (3.1%), and Baca (3.7%).
