According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 4.2% (sa) in January, 2008. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Flagler (7.5%), Hendry (6.8%), and Hernando (6.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (2.7%), Liberty (2.9%), and Wakulla (3.1%).
