According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 8.2% (sa) in February, 2009. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Flagler (12.5%), Hernando (11.3%), and Marion (11%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Liberty (5%), Alachua (5.6%), and Miami-Dade (5.7%).
