According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 9.7% (sa) in June, 2009. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Flagler (13.9%), Hendry (13.5%), and St. Lucie (12.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Liberty (5.7%), Okaloosa (6.4%), and Franklin (6.4%).
