According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 9.3% (sa) in December, 2011. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Putnam (12.9%), Citrus (11.9%), and Dixie (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (6.4%), Monroe (6.5%), and Alachua (7.3%).
