According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.3% (sa) in April, 2013. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grundy (11.8%), Alexander (11.1%), and Johnson (11%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Washington (5.7%), McLean (5.7%), and Monroe (6.1%).
