According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.2% (sa) in January, 2013. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grundy (14.2%), Johnson (14%), and Alexander (13.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (6.9%), McLean (7%), and Washington (7.2%).
