According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 9.8% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Pulaski (11.7%), Cook (11.6%), and Winnebago (11.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (3.9%), Washington (4%), and Moultrie (5.4%).
