According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Illinois was 6.4% (sa) in June, 2021. Among all Illinois counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Pulaski (10.1%), Alexander (9.5%), and Boone (9.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Brown (2.9%), Monroe (3.4%), and Washington (3.9%).
