According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 5.9% (sa) in June, 2021. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: California (7.8%), New York (7.5%), and New Mexico (7.4%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: Nebraska (2.7%), Utah (2.8%), and South Dakota (2.8%).
