According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Indiana was 8.8% (sa) in May, 2011. Among all Indiana counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Scott (12.3%), Fayette (12.1%), and Orange (11.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (5.4%), Dubois (5.6%), and Daviess (5.6%).
