According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Michigan was 3.8% (sa) in July, 2023. Among all Michigan counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Oscoda (7.3%), Ontonagon (7.1%), and Alcona (7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Livingston (2.9%), Oakland (3.3%), and Mackinac (3.3%).
