According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 5.5% (sa) in March, 2005. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (19.7%), Mora (13.5%), and Guadalupe (8.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.6%), Union (3.7%), and Roosevelt (3.8%).
