According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.2% (sa) in February, 2009. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (18.5%), Mora (10.8%), and Grant (9.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.2%), Roosevelt (3.6%), and Curry (4%).
