According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 7.5% (sa) in November, 2009. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (17.2%), Mora (14.2%), and Grant (11.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.8%), Curry (4.2%), and Roosevelt (4.6%).
