According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New York was 4% (sa) in December, 2019. Among all New York counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hamilton (9.1%), Jefferson (6.6%), and Lewis (6.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Queens (2.7%), New York (2.8%), and Richmond (3%).
