According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 6.3% (sa) in January, 2005. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (19%), Morgan (13.7%), and Pike (13.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mercer (4.8%), Holmes (4.8%), and Delaware (4.8%).
