According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 11.1% (sa) in December, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Clinton (18.9%), Highland (18.5%), and Ottawa (17.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (7.2%), Medina (7.6%), and Delaware (8%).
