According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Vermont was 6.7% (sa) in January, 2010. Among all Vermont counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Essex (12.5%), Orleans (11.3%), and Grand Isle (9.5%).
