According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Vermont was 2.1% (sa) in January, 2020. Among all Vermont counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Orleans (6.3%), Essex (4.9%), and Caledonia (4.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Chittenden (2.1%), Windsor (2.2%), and Windham (2.7%).
