According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 8% (sa) in September, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (13.4%), Wahkiakum (12.1%), and Grays Harbor (12%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (5.2%), King (6.1%), and Lincoln (6.2%).
