US Unemployment Rate By State in September, 2012

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 7.8% (sa) in September, 2012. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (11.2%), California (10.1%), and Rhode Island (10%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (3%), Nebraska (3.9%), and South Dakota (4%).
