According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 5.8% (sa) in September, 2014. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Grays Harbor (9%), Ferry (8.8%), and Pacific (8.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (4.1%), Chelan (4.4%), and Whitman (4.5%).
