According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 9% (sa) in July, 2011. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (13.4%), California (12%), and Rhode Island (11%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (3.4%), Nebraska (4.4%), and South Dakota (4.5%).
