According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.9% (sa) in December, 2021. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: District of Columbia (6.1%), New Mexico (5.6%), and New Jersey (5.5%).
On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: South Dakota (2%), Nebraska (2.1%), and Utah (2.2%).
