US Unemployment Rate By State in July, 2022

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of the US was 3.5% (sa) in July, 2022. Among all US states and DC, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates: Nevada (5.2%), Illinois (4.5%), and District of Columbia (4.2%).

On the hand, the following three states were among those with low unemployment rates: North Dakota (1.9%), South Dakota (2%), and Nebraska (2.2%).
