According to data from the World Bank, in 2013, among all African countries, Somalia had the highest Female infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births in Africa (82.5), followed by Sierra Leone (73.6), and Central African Republic (72.9). On the other hand, Libya had the lowest Female infant mortality rate in Africa (10.1).
