US Total Number and Rate of Violent and Property Crimes in 2010

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2010, the total number of violent crimes for the US was 1,251,248, and the violent crime rate per 100K residents was 404.5. The total number of property crimes was 9,112,625 and the property crime rate per 100K residents was 2,945.9.
