According to the FBI UCR data, in 2012, among North Carolina cities with a population of at least 10K, Lumberton had the highest Larceny-Theft Crime Rate per 100K residents (10,146.12), followed by Henderson (7,744.48), Smithfield (5,272), Hope Mills (5,264.85), and Asheboro (5,255.53).
