According to the FBI UCR data, in 2016, among Maine cities with a population of at least 10K, Augusta had the highest Violent Crime Rate per 100K residents (414.24), followed by Biddeford (408.74), Portland (292.36), Sanford (277.33), and Bangor (232.46).
