According to the FBI UCR data, in 2017, among New Mexico cities with a population of at least 10K, Espanola had the highest Aggravated Assault Crime Rate per 100K residents (2,608.44), followed by Artesia (1,243.14), Gallup (1,069.47), Los Lunas (1,036.9), and Farmington (977.04).
