According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 1,313,105 violent crimes in the US; and the violent crime rate per 100K residents was 398.5. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force. The specific number and type of Violent Crimes included: Aggravated Assault (921,505), Robbery (243,600), and Rape (126,430).
