According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 22,289 total arrests made in the US for forgery and counterfeiting offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (15.30K), followed by Black or African American (6.35K), and Asian (374).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 19,625 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (16.29K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (3.33K).
