According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 646 juvenile arrests made in the US for murder and nonnegligent manslaughter offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (376), followed by White (250), and American Indian or Alaska Native (10).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 543 (84%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (389), followed by Hispanic or Latino (154).
