According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 19,100 adult arrests made in the US for sex offenses (except rape and prostitution) offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (14.04K), followed by Black or African American (4.12K), and Asian (466).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 16,723 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (11.56K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (5.17K).
