US Number of Total Arrests By Race and Ethnicity for Rape Offenses in 2022

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 15,502 total arrests made in the US for rape offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (10.77K), followed by Black or African American (4.11K), and Asian (299).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 13,067 (84%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (9.34K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (3.73K).
